This place is in the Crompton building right before you hit Kelly Square. It's on the left-hand side when you walk in and it is a hidden gem. It's a very clean, organized in thoughtful bookstore that does so much more. They will find you the book you're looking for and ship it right to you. All of the used books that they receive are cleaned as well. I found out, so no surprises when you get the book. In the back of the store, you can find a little café where you can get chai, espresso drinks, or an awesome smoothie. It has a little area to sit at the bar or at some of the tables. Definitely suggest checking this out. This isn't just a regular bookstore. That's stocking one of everything they think will sell. This is a bookstore that has a focus on the humanities/culture/science. But you will also be able to find something for the whole family there too.

Not an autism friendly store to say the least. I LOVE used book stores and usually always buy something. The man who was running the register came over and told us our daughter needed to turn her iPad off because they discourage the use of electronics. Her iPad (which is her AAC device allowing her to talk to people) was not on. The screen was off she was just stimming and he argued with us that it was on and he could hear it. We had to physically show him the iPad and tell him she was nonverbal. Then his excuse was people come in here and do weird things. Will not be back.

The bookstore and selection were amazing!! This is a wonderfully cozy atmospheric bookshop. Though I give 3 stars because the price on the coffee was outrageous. $8 for a perfectly normal medium sized (no small size) lavender sage latte?! Nothing about this latte made it worth $8. Please price your lattes like normal places, I can do $5 maybe even $6 but not $8. My coffee cost the same as my book 😭

Bedlam Book Café is an amazing place! It’s cozy, chill, and full of good vibes. The coffee shop inside makes it even better I had a cappuccino and it was very tasty. The lady at the coffee shop was very professional and nice. I definitely recommend this place!
